It's the 15th annual MKAL by Stephen West! This year's shawl is called Go Go Dynamo and promises to be a lively energetic design filled with bold geometric details.
We have created some fabulous yarn bundles you are sure to love! The bundles contain the yarn only, If you want to join the MKAL, you will need to sign up and purchase access separately via Ravelry or Westknits.com.
Go Go Dynamo is designed for two contrasting colours AND a fun Mohair DARE if you want a bit of extra yummy fluffiness. Choose from our curated bundles or create your own unique mix to bring your knitting visions to life!
Each yarn colourway features X2 skeins of Patons Patonyle Artistry 4ply and X4 balls of Morris Empire 4ply. We suggest Rowan Kidsilk haze for your Mohair dare - you can pick your colour here

- Gauge: 24 sts & 48 rows = 4″ / 10cm in garter stitch before blocking
Try to get close to the recommended stitch gauge to ensure you don't run out of yarn. A similar stitch gauge is more important than getting an exact row gauge.
Garter Stitch Swatch
If you would like to see how your colours interact, cast on 30 stitches and knit some colourful stripes, knitting on the right side and wrong side for garter stitch.
Stephen West recommends striping the colours by knitting 4 rows of each colour, resulting in 2 garter ridges for each stripe like this…

Repeat those stripes to visualize your colour relationship and check your stitch gauge. -
