Sometimes it's the little details that can make all the difference.
Here we introduce you to cast on and off techniques that add a little extra finesse to your knit work.
Swatch 1: Long tail cast on, stocking stitch, 3 needle bind off
Swatch 2: Tubular cast on, 1x1 rib, tubular cast off
Swatch 3: German Long tail cast on, garter stitch, Icelandic cast off
- 1 ball of 8 ply yarn is provided
- Students need to bring:
- 1 pair of circular needles with 80cm cable, 3.75 to 4.5 mm (as appropriate to make standard gauge)
- a 3rd needle in the same or a close size
- small scissors
- large wool needle
- If buying supplies on the day, you can use the 10% discount card given in class
Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Bookings can be made up to the last minute but do sell out! Book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
