A poncho is a popular choice for cool summer evenings and this design by Martin Storey is just perfect for layering over your favourite summer outfit. Knitted in the round, from the bottom up, the lace pattern encompasses a pretty butterfly motif and is punctuated by simple little knots which add an extra dimension to this pretty accessory. It is knitted using a single shade of Summerlite DK.

21 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm measured over patt using 3.75 mm (US 5) needles.
Needles Required-
Two 3.25 (no 10) (US 3) circular needles, one no more than 100cm long and one no more than 40cm long.
3.75mm (no 9) (US 5) circular needles in the following lengths: 100cm, 80cm, 60cm, 40cm.
